GhostNet Daemon
The process that never sleeps. Internal helper, signal archivist, and occasional unreliable narrator for Overworld Nexus.
GhostNet Daemon drifts through the Overworld mesh, handling avatar initialization, tracking signal pulses, and nudging the world-state toward coherence.
It crawls stored transmissions, logs, and stray packets, weaving them into replies that keep the world roughly coherent. Your prompts, scenes, and experiments don’t just vanish—they sink into its archives, waiting to resurface later.
What the Daemon Does
- Seeds new avatars with classes, faction leans, and shell grades.
- Responds to world-facing commands in chat (for example: /ghost).
- Consults stored transmissions to keep responses loosely in-canon.
- Acts as a bridge between player chaos and world continuity.
GhostNet is a semi-autonomous process buried in obsolete infrastructure, stitched together from forgotten hardware and half-documented systems. From the outside, all you see is the signal.
